Mitrease Plunkett

Mitrease Plunkett is our Clinical Office Administrator. She has been a dedicated and dependable member of Innovative Health since 2020. She is a Certified Medical Biller and Coder, a Certified Nurse Tech II, a Phlebotomist and a Certified Medical Assistant. Cumulatively these add another layer of clinical understanding to her work and strengthens her ability to support both patients and providers. 

Mitrease holds an Associate of Science degree in Healthcare from both Hinds Community  College and Jackson State University. Her foundation has always been rooted in a genuine love for healthcare that allows her to serve patients with compassion.  She is known for her calm voice, warm personality, and quiet humor and brings a level of professionalism and kindness that patients remember long after their visit.  

 Over the years, she has mastered a wide range of skills—skills that help keep the clinic running smoothly and contribute to the success of the entire team. Mitrease is married, together, they are the proud parents of three boys.  Mitrease is often the first face you’ll see, the voice guiding you through your visit, and the last person to make sure you’re taken care of.
